A Round Table Conference on ‘Land Grabbing in Visakhapatnam’

A Round Table Conference on ‘Land Grabbing in Visakhapatnam’ with leaders of all political parties and intellectuals was held today in Visakhaptnam under the aegis of YSR Congress Party. The meet decided to intensify and take forward the fight against land grabbers till the government orders a CBI probe. Cases of Land grabbing to an extent of more than 1 lakh acres in and around Vizag have been unearthed.

Though it is an open secret that a local minister, MLA’s and leaders of ruling party are behind these unprecedented land scams, the government is shying away from ordering a CBI enquiry. Top authorities, including district collector, are unabashedly making all attempts to protect the high profile people behind land scams under the duress of powers that be. However, YSR Congress Party demands a thorough investigation into the land scams by none other than CBI.
