Shri Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-In-Exile met me today

Shri Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-In-Exile met me today at my official residence in Delhi. He invited to participate in an International Seminar to be held in Delhi on 8th August, 2017 to discuss issues concerning Tibetans across the globe. I also signed a petition along with many other parliamentarians across party lines requesting Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to confer “Bharat Ratna” to His Holiness Dalai LamaJi.

His Holiness Dalai Lama is the most revered religious leader of the world. He was awarded Noble peace price in 1989. He has been conferred with many prestigious International awards. He has been promoting the message of Peace and Brotherhood across the world. His Holiness Dalai Lama has taken shelter in India after the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1959.
